Calling Cape Town is an initiative started by passionate South Africans eager to contribute towards solving
one of our country’s biggest challenges: the lack of high-quality education opportunities for low-income
learners. A recent report stated that 80% of South Africa’s high schools can be deemed dysfunctional!
We are doing this by supporting Calling Education, a public benefit organisation focused on developing an
innovative model of providing top-quality education to learners from low-income communities. To find out
more about the Calling Cape Town Challenge, watch the video or visit the website, www.callingcpt.com.
